There is nothing more important than the safety of our members, our community, and our employees.
As we welcome you back to the El Camp workspace, we are committed to providing a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols provided by the CDC and Los Angeles County. We are leveraging outside experts in food and water safety, hygiene and infection prevention, and shared workspace operations. Here are some of the changes you will notice when you return that ensure everyone a safe working environment:
We have implemented new cleaning protocols to include frequent and thorough cleanings of all high-touch areas and surfaces several times a day. In working with our local and state health departments we are ensuring our protocols for cleaning and disinfection meet local health and safety recommendations. We have also developed policies for our employee’s protection and are providing training to all cleaning services staff on-site prior to providing cleaning tasks. Our staff is getting trained on the hazards of the cleaning chemicals used in the workplace in accordance with OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard.

We’re implementing new social distancing protocols, like redirecting foot traffic to allow for 6-foot physical distancing in our common spaces. Upon request, plexiglass desk partitions will be provided. In addition, we have reduced the number of chairs per conference room and in the common space to increase the space between chairs.
High-efficiency MERV-rated air filters are being used throughout El Camp, based on the latest industry guidance, to help you breathe easier. Humidity level monitoring and regular fresh air exhange are used to optimize workplace ventilation.
Signage has been installed in frequently-used areas to communicate social distancing protocols, whether members are walking, sitting, or standing. In addition, signs have also been placed on each meeting room entrance to remind users of maximum occupancy limits.

Touch-free hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout El Camp, and we are minimizing shared surface contact throughout the workplace.
We have installed a one-touch coffee, cappuccino, and espresso machine. We are also restocking the kitchen with single-use dishes and utensils only. Individually wrapped snacks will be provided for your safe enjoyment.
We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our members and our employees. Lastly, we’d like to personally thank you for your continued support and patience as we navigate this dynamic situation. Let’s work together to protect and care for one another.
